On the same day, Hainan Province's first distributed "channel surface" photovoltaic project, Hainan Huadian Lingshui 59.9MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project, was connected to the grid for power generation. The project was invested by Huadian (Lingshui) New Energy Co., Ltd. and innovatively adopted a combination of photovoltaic power generation and canal resource utilization, that is, solar panels were laid on the main canal and the surrounding unused land, which neither affected the channel function nor generated photovoltaic power. The total installed capacity reached 59.9 MW, of which the photovoltaic power generation capacity was 49.9MW and the energy storage system capacity was 10MW. The annual average power generation was expected to be about 102 million kWh. The project adopted the engineering EPC general contracting model, and the winning bidder was China Railway 20th Bureau Group Electrification Engineering Co., Ltd., with a winning bid amount of 146.65 million yuan.
